TX Series

Sophisticated characteristics are combined in the TX digital matrix camera series. Maximum signal and image quality are ensured with all models and configurations even under harsh environmental conditions. Thus, almost unlimited applications are enabled by the TX series. Reproducible measurement results and very reliable operation are achieved thanks to the clever thermal management and the robust industrial design. The functionality of these devices complies with the GenICam™ standard.

The TX cameras are available with FireWire™ or Gigabit Ethernet. Innovative extensions such as Power over Ethernet (PoE) or multiple digital input and output ports are additional options.

  • Perfect image quality even at high frame rates
  • Resolution from VGA to 5 megapixels
  • Frame Rates from 15 to 210fps
  • High sensitivity and dynamic range
  • Binning and partial scan to increase frame rates
  • Compact aluminum housing
  • GigE Vision interface
  • Optional available with multiple I/Os and PoE

EX Series

The cameras of the Baumer EX series with Aptina CMOS sensors and resolution of 5 megapixels are an economic alternative to CCD cameras. The combination of advanced sensor technology combined with our own camera design expertise guarantees optimum image quality.

SX Series

Up to 8 megapixel resolution – the CCD cameras with Camera Link® and Dual GigE in the Baumer SX series show every detail, no matter how fine, even with short inspection times. Thanks to the wide diversity of variants, they always fit the bill in many different applications.

Baumer's dynamic tap balancing process featured in the SX Dual GigE and Camera Link® v2 cameras enables utilization of the full capacity offered by the high-performance Kodak sensors. This means that temperature affecting image quality is now a thing of the past.

  • Excellent image quality using Kodak sensors
  • Resolution up to 8 megapixels
  • Frame rate up to 120 frames/sec
  • Camera Link® Base or Dual GigE with PoE
  • Robust industrial design

HX Series

Maximum speed and resolution up to 4 megapixels – the cameras of our HX series are based on the most up-to-date CMOS sensors with global shutter technology. Their high sensitivity enables shorter inspection times. In addition to the established Camera Link® interface, the HX series combines for the first time fast CMOS sensors with innovative Dual GigE technology.

With up to 337 frames per second the HX models can keep up with even the fastest applications without missing a step – and while delivering first class image quality.

  • CMOSIS sensors with global shutter
  • Resolution from 2 to 4 megapixels
  • Up to 337 frames/s
  • Monochrome, color and NIR
  • Multi I/O

MX Series

In many applications progress is measured by advancing miniaturization, so every cubic millimeter of installation space counts. The new MXG board level camera series from Baumer is the solution for applications that demand this high level of flexibility.

The separate sensor board measures only 28.5 x 28.5 mm, hardly larger than a 2-Euro coin. It is connected to the system circuit board via flexprint. This allows the cameras to be individually integrated even into small, cramped installation spaces in almost any mechanical design.

  • Frame rate up to 160 frames/sec
  • Resolution from VGA to 4 megapixels
  • High sensitivity and wide dynamic range
  • Power over Ethernet
  • GigE Vision® , USB3 Vision™ and GenICam™ compliant
  • Binning and partial scan to increase frame rates
  • Board Level Design for maximum mechanical flexibility

VisiLine® Series

With the new VisiLine® camera series you can rely on innovative technologies and the proven quality of our successful TX series. Consistent further developments have made the cameras better in all areas: higher frame rates with even better image quality and more functionality.

For simplified solution of demanding image processing tasks, the cameras are equipped with a large number of technical features. For example, color  comparison as well as FPN correction and HDR in the CMOS models facilitate efficient image analysis. Multi I/O, PoE and storable user sets also make it easy to integrate the cameras in your system.

  • Frame rate up to 160 fps
  • Resolution from VGA to 4 megapixels
  • High sensitivity and wide dynamic range
  • GigE Vision® and GenICam™ compliant
  • Binning and partial scan to increase frame rates
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE)

VeriSens® Series

VeriSens® is a compact image processing system in the shape of a sensor. Typical applications among many others are packaging and quality inspection. As an inline solution, different product features can be easily verified directly after a manufacturing step so that defective parts can be sorted out immediately.

Flexibility and versatility of image based part verification is a must for many users today. VeriSens® is the ideal component. As a complete image processing system, it includes all necessary hardware and software. It can be configured intuitively using a PC.

The patented FEX® 3.5 image processor and the FEXLoc® position recognition ensure reliable parts recognition. Check & Sort applications can be easily carried out regardless of the position of the item. Thanks to configuration in just a few steps, the VeriSens® CS series can also very quickly be parameterized by new users.

  • FEX® image processor and FEXLoc® part recognition
  • Intuitive configuration via PC (Ethernet)
  • Ethernet interface (10-Base-T/100-Base-TX)
  • IP 67 metal housing for industrial environments
  • Built-in LED lighting
  • Five digital I/Os (depending on version, also RS485)
