The Photonfocus 3D CMOS camera MV1-D2048x1088-3D03-160-G2-8 was developed for Laser triangulation systems with high triangulation rates. The CMOSIS CMOS sensor CMV2000 features a full well capacity (FWC) of 13.5 ke- optimized for high sensitivity is combined with a robust algorithm for line peak detection.

An onboard high performance FPGA-based peak detector is used for image pre-processing. In laser triangulation applications the 3D CMOS camera MV1-D2048x1088-3D03-160-G2-8 outputs the line position and qualification information to each line position value.

The camera is supported by the PF Suite 3D, a graphical user interface (GUI) for a quickly evaluation of the camera and a SDK for the implementation of the 3D CMOS camera. The following picture shows user interface of the PF Suite 3D.
