Photonfocus Laser Triangulation Demo at Photonics West
Demonstration of Photonfocus MV1-D2048x1088-3D03 camera for laser triangulation applications. A laser line is projected onto the tread of a rotating RC car tire, the camera extracts the peak from each row in the frame and presents the results to the PF 3D Suite software which displays the peak profile and the surface map of the tire tread. In the 3rd window we are displaying a rendered 3D model of the tread from a previously captured point cloud file.
